Prior to commencing work covered up Mirboo decking to protect against any render splashes. Pizza oven rendered to Victorian building specifications to prevent the pizza oven from exploding under extreme heat.
Back wall and front panels and inserts were done in acrylic render, render still in the process of drying. Pizza oven itself rendered with sand, heat proof cement and a dark grey oxide to prevent any heat explosion. Un-rendered bench top next to pizza oven will have a granite top installed by the owner. Opening on right hand side is for an installation of a weber barbeque on natural gas, left hand side below pizza oven is storage for timber for pizza oven.
